We are seeking a skilled Engineer - Model-Based Software Developer to join the growing team at a leading Automotive component manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing new systems and components for futuristic electric vehicles. You will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with our Partner’s esteemed customers, participate in design reviews, and communicate with internal subject matter experts for technical guidance and training. Model-Based Software Developer

You will be responsible for:

- Design and develop new systems and components for futuristic electric vehicles,
- Collaborate closely with our customers on new programs and participate in design reviews,
- Communicate with internal subject matter experts at our organization for technical guidance and training,
- Develop control models and functions using Matlab Simulink,
- Analyze system requirements and decompose them into software requirements,
- Implement software development using the Functional Safety standard ISO26262,
- Conduct Model-in-Loop testing to verify software functionality,
- Perform Software-in-Loop testing using the Vector CAST tool,
- Stay updated with communication technologies such as CAN and SAE J1939.

We require:

- Master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a similar field,
- Fluency in English,
- General experience in the automotive (preferred) or machinery industries,
- Proficiency in developing control models and functions using Matlab Simulink,
- Ability to analyze system requirements and decompose them into software requirements,
- Familiarity with communication technologies such as CAN and SAE J1939,
- Experience in software development following the Functional Safety standard ISO26262,
- Knowledge of Model-in-Loop testing methodologies,
- Experience in SIL (Software-in-Loop) testing using the Vector CAST tool,
- Proficiency in tools such as Vector CAST and the MATLAB tool chain,
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronics or Automobile,
- Travel to customer locations within the EU may be required on a need basis, mostly once every three months.

Located at our state-of-the-art Office in Krakow, Poland, you will be at the heart of the action. While most of your time will be spent collaborating with our exceptional team, you will also have the chance to travel to customer locations within the European Union. These visits, occurring once every three months, will further enhance your understanding of customer requirements and provide valuable insights into international perspectives.

To excel in this role, you will utilize your expertise in model-based software development. Using the powerful Matlab Simulink platform, you will craft sophisticated control models and functions that optimize performance and efficiency. You will analyze intricate system requirements, skillfully decomposing them into software requirements to ensure seamless integration.

In addition, you will leverage your knowledge of communication technologies such as CAN and SAE J1939, enabling flawless connectivity and real-time data exchange. Your understanding of the Functional Safety standard ISO26262 will be critical in ensuring the utmost reliability and safety in software development.

Throughout the project, you will employ advanced testing methodologies, including Model-in-Loop and Software-in-Loop (SIL) testing. Using industry-leading tools such as Vector CAST, you will meticulously validate software functionality, leaving no room for compromise.
